Grand opening of the nation’s largest upland event
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are happy to announce the Bird Dog Parade will once again kick-off the 2024 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic this year. The annual event will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The parade is the grand opening of the nation’s largest upland hunting event, and displays the incredible diversity of sporting dog breeds. In past years over 100 dogs have participated, representing nearly 40 different breeds. Presented by Purina Pro Plan and South Dakota Tourism, the bird dog parade pays tribute to our beloved friends and hunting companions, without whom so much of the upland tradition would be lost.
