Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s 2022 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic, presented by Federal Premium Ammunition, drew 21,939 attendees to the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, during the three-day event.

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are partnering with the United Sorghum Checkoff Program and Cotton Incorporated to host a learning center session at the 2022 Commodity Classic in New Orleans at 12:30pm, March 11.

Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever have unveiled a new partnership with Sustainable Environmental Consultants, powered by EcoPractices, to help producers achieve agricultural resiliency through habitat-based conservation solutions.

Today the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (USDA- FSA) announced a general signup for the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) running from January 31 – March 11, 2022, and a Grassland CRP signup from April 4 – May 13.

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have promoted staffer Zach Brewer to a new position in Oklahoma. Brewer was previously a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist in the Broken Bow, Nebraska NRCS field office.  In his new role, he’ll be a Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist 2 in Claremore, Oklahoma.
 

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are pleased to announce the completion of a new habitat and access project in Ohio via the organization’s Build a Wildlife Area® program. 

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have promoted longtime staffer Brittney Viers to the position of Tennessee state coordinator.

Quail Forever chapters from Arkansas and Louisiana will be hosting a “Women on the Wing Learn to Hunt Weekend Extravaganza” this January. The event will be open to adult women only and will focus on introducing new hunters to the upland world.

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to announce a new land acquisition in Sibley County, Minnesota. The 115-acre property located near Severance Lake was donated by Gene Hauer of Shakopee, Minn. 

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Susan Ellis-Felege to its National Board of Directors. A longtime bird hunter and associate professor of wildlife ecology and management at the University of North Dakota (UND), now joins the 16-member board which meets quarterly and oversees the operations of Pheasants Forever, Inc. & Quail Forever.
