Mentored Youth Hunt​​​​​​​​

PF & QF’s Youth Learn to Hunt events are all about getting kids outside, learning new skills, and having fun in the field. With hands-on activities, safe instruction, and exciting first hunts, young participants gain confidence, connect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime.

All participants will receive a swag bag, rotate through stations for conservation education, VDWR regulations, live fire, bird dog demo, gear review and more. Parents are welcome to attend and will have a gallery seat position to view the hunt!

Event is open to all youths 12yo-15yo with no or little bird hunting experience. All gear and supplies available during the event including bird vests, shotguns, ammo and protective equipment. Youths are encouraged to bring their own shotguns, if applicable. Each youth will have a designated mentor through the duration of the clinic to assist with live fire and answering any questions. 

Registration does not guarantee a reservation. Youth does not need to be a current QF member to submit registration. Every drawn attendee will receive a one year membership FREE! We will draw for 10 lucky youths and encourage parents, family and friends to submit a registration for any youth they feel would love this amazing and FREE opportunity!!!

***There will be a live draw at the chapter meeting September 16th. Youths drawn do not need to be present to win a reservation.***
