This year's youth hunt will be held Saturday December 12th 2026. This is for area youths between the ages of 12-17 and will be limited to 50 participants per session. Note: we are offering a
"Learn to Hunt" event November 28th in preparation for the pheasant
hunt that is strongly encouraged. Register for Learn to Hunt event

Shells will be provided for 12 and 20 gauge guns. Morning Session check-in is at 8:00 AM. Lunch and refreshments will be provided from 11:30-12:30. Afternoon Session check-in is at 11:30 AM. Registration deadline is December 6th, 2025. Remember to bring your hunting license and a hunter orange vest to wear while hunting. To promote safety for all those
involved, a valid hunting license is required. NOTE: An Apprentice
Hunting license does not meet the liability requirements for our hunt.
If you would like to be grouped with other youth friends or family members, please list their names on question #4 of the ticket. We will try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but there is no guarantee as each field is limited to number of participants for safety reasons and to give each participant the best chance of success.
Adults: Thank-you for your time and dedication to get your kids out in the field. You don’t have to be a hunter to join us on this hunt. If you’ve never experienced pheasant hunting before- come out, bring a camera, and enjoy a day outside with your kids. The State of Ohio allows an unlicensed adult (18 and over) to accompany a youth hunter in the field provided the adult is not carrying a firearm.
