New Quail Forever Chapter Launches in Arizona

Cave Creek, Ariz. — October 30, 2025 — Quail Forever is proud to announce the formation of the Desert Foothills Chapter, based in Cave Creek. The new chapter represents an expansion of grassroots conservation efforts in the North Valley, bringing together volunteers dedicated to improving quail habitat throughout the region.

Unique among national conservation organizations, chapters of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever retain 100 percent decision-making control over fundraising dollars. This allows volunteers to support wildlife habitat projects, public access initiatives and conservation education programs throughout the upland bird range. Lauren Stamm, southwest regional representative, will work closely with the new chapter to support the organization's vision of sustaining abundant populations of quail and other wildlife.

The Desert Foothills Chapter adds important coverage to the Phoenix metropolitan area, strategically positioned to serve the North Valley and surrounding communities. As Phoenix continues to grow, the chapter's focus on habitat restoration and conservation education becomes increasingly vital for preserving quail populations and the upland ecosystems they inhabit.

The chapter is receiving support from Carter Robinson, a development officer with Quail Forever, who is helping establish its foundation and build connections within the local conservation community. "We're excited to engage more people in the North Valley and to work together with other Arizona chapters to expand our mission across the state," Robinson said.

"This new chapter is very excited about habitat projects and recruiting new members," Stamm said. "They wanted to start making an impact in their part of the city and spreading the Quail Forever mission and name even further."

The Desert Foothills Chapter is already planning activities to engage the local conservation community. Upcoming events and member drives will introduce the organization to potential supporters and build a volunteer base for future habitat projects and conservation initiatives.

Volunteers are eager to make an immediate impact on quail habitat in the North Valley, focusing on projects that will benefit not only quail populations but the broader upland ecosystem. Through hands-on habitat work, partnerships with landowners, and community education efforts, the Desert Foothills Chapter aims to restore and enhance critical wildlife habitat throughout its coverage area.
