Quail Forever Appoints Ross Fogle as Northern Illinois Regional Representative

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever has appointed Ross Fogle as the organization’s incoming Northern Illinois Regional Representative. A central Illinois native, Fogle will provide support and guidance to volunteer Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters throughout the state, currently home to 41 Pheasants Forever chapters, 19 Quail Forever chapters, and more than 10,000 members.

“As a current chapter volunteer, natural resources professional, and someone who has valuable experience in leadership positions, we’re excited to announce Ross as part of the Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever team,” stated Tim Caughran, the organization’s eastern regional field manager. “Not only does he understand our local model, but he has used it to create wildlife habitat and public access for Illinois’ upland hunters – he’s a mission-driven individual and an excellent addition to ‘The Habitat Organization.’”

Growing up on a farm in central Illinois, Fogle developed an innate passion for wildlife and conservation. Attending Western Illinois University, Fogle earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2011 before working as a market development specialist for West Central FS. Prior to joining Pheasants Forever, Fogle worked as a resource conservationist for McLean County Soil and Water Conservation District where he provided farmers, landowners, and youth with conservation solutions and educational opportunities.

Fogle will be present at the Illinois State Habitat Meeting taking place at the Par-A-Dice Hotel in East Peoria on January 23, 2016. Chapters and members are encouraged to attend to meet Pheasants Forever’s newest regional representative and enjoy event highlights such as free gun drawings, a Friday night social, Saturday luncheon, and an awards banquet.

Fogle currently serves as an active board member with the McLean County Chapter of Pheasants Forever, and brings a deep understanding of the needs of the organization as well as eight years of public service experience. Fogle officially started as the Northern Illinois Regional Representative on January 11 and can be contacted at (309) 310-7958 or rfogle@pheasantsforever.org.
