New Corporate Sales Representative to Drive Growth of National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever has hired Gerry Cliff as the organization’s new corporate sales representative, a position based at the nonprofit’s company headquarters in Minnesota. In his new role, Cliff will be responsible for the growth and promotion of National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic. The nation’s largest annual tradeshow and convention for upland hunters, the event will be held February 19, 20 & 21, 2016, at the Kansas City Convention Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

“I am very honored and excited to be joining the dedicated team at Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, and look forward to promoting the nation’s leading upland wildlife habitat conservation organization,” said Gerry Cliff, corporate sales representative for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. “Upland hunting has always been a passion of mine since the first day my father took me afield carrying my grandfather’s single shot 16 gauge H&R. I look forward to meeting and working with all of the members, sponsors, and participants who put so much effort into supporting habitat and conservation for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.”

In his primary role, Cliff will work to promote the status of National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic as the nation’s leading upland tradeshow by fulfilling over 400 vendor booth spaces and adding new corporate sponsorships associated with this annual event. Additionally, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever will utilize Cliff’s 25-year tenure in the marketing field to help establish new advertising contracts with print and online media resources.

Cliff earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale before leading an accomplished career in advertising and sales. Prior to joining Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, Cliff was the western sales manager of Ross Media Group before transitioning into the role of president, representing the National Rifle Association since 2002. In an earlier role, Cliff was director of advertising for Blount International Sporting Group, representing Federal Premium Ammunition from 1989-2001. Supporting him during this transition is his wife, Lillian.
