BUILD A WILDLIFE AREA - Iowa

Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever completed its first successful Build a Wildlife Area project in Iowa in 2008. Since then, the Build a Wildlife Area program in Iowa has resulted in over 3,000 acres that have been opened to public hunting and outdoor recreation.

Iowa ranks near the bottom among states in public land ownership, so Pheasants Forever land acquisition projects there carry extra significance.
