Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever member Chuck Juengling’s English setter, “Lefty,” pointed pheasants and quail during an upland hunt in central Kansas in November 2015. Juengling is also proud of Lefty’s retrieving ability, the setter having retrieved every downed bird since 2010. Lefty sports a battle scar on his tail, an injury that had to be surgically repaired after a grouse hunt in the Wisconsin woods. Juengling is a longtime Pheasants Forever member and is a co-founder and volunteer secretary of the Commonwealth Chapter of Quail Forever in Louisville, Kentucky.
