HU offers flexible online learning, certificates, hands-on opportunities, and bundle badges to help you succeed in your habitat projects.
- Habitat focused courses for private landowners, chapters, contractors, and land managers.
- These courses give you the inside scoop on habitat and they only take 15-45 minutes!
- From "Fire as Fertilizer" to "Cows as Co-managers," courses take students step-by-step through their habitat projects and what considerations to take when starting their conservation journey. Complete a series of courses to earn badges such as "Food Plot Pro" or "Native Seed Contractor."
- HU is set to "soft-launch" at Pheasant Fest in February 2026 with 10 courses.
- Look for NEW courses every few months — HU is set to continue growing and giving you the resources you want!
- The HU Pro version targets conservation professionals and aspiring conservation professionals committed to professional development and delivering conservation technical assistance to the public.
- From "Economics of Conservation" to "Working with Landowner's: Outreach Events", courses provide students practical skills in technical assistance delivery. Complete a series of courses to earn badges like "Private Lands Conservationist I" or "Private Lands Biologist I" and be part of a student cohort along the way.
- Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 Pro courses are available now with Spring 2026 courses dropping in early April 2026.
- Look for NEW Pro courses every Winter, Spring, and Fall.
