Volunteers will advocate for wildlife habitat conservation on public lands

Quail Forever (QF) is proud to introduce the newest Quail Forever chapter in Missouri. The Mineral Area Chapter of Quail Forever will cover St. Francois, Washington, Madison and Sainte Genevieve counties, with volunteers who are passionate about advocating for quail habitat conservation on public lands.

Unique among national conservation organizations, chapters of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever retain 100 percent decision-making control over fundraising dollars, allowing volunteers to support impactful wildlife habitat projects, public access initiatives and conservation education programs throughout the upland bird range. QF’s Missouri regional representative, Ayden Carey, will work closely with the new chapter to support the organization’s vision to sustain abundant populations of wild quail, pheasants and other wildlife.

“I'm incredibly excited to add another chapter to the ranks in Missouri,” Carey said. “The Mineral Area Chapter is full of excited conservationists with big goals, and I can't wait to see what they can accomplish moving forward.”

The group will continue to recruit like-minded hunters and conservationists who will represent Quail Forever’s upland conservation mission. Within nearby national forests and parks, they will advocate for public lands management with quail in mind.
