Here’s Aero, a 2-year-old Braque du Bourbonnais, and her 1st limit of Mearns quail in Southern Arizona, and three from the previous day’s hunt. “Her and her friend’s, Otto-a 5 year old Drathaar, stellar points allowed me to shoot 3 doubles this day!” said, Matt Russell, Aero’s owner and new Quail Forever member, “In total, nine roosters and only two hens in two days. Incredible!”

Aero has been an ambassador for the Bourbonnais breed.  According to Russell, she’s already seen the West Coast from CA-OR-WA + Utah & Mexico and has hunted SE and NE Montana for ruffed grouse, sage Grouse, sharptail grouse, pheasants and Hungarian partridge for her first two seasons in a row with plenty of Gambels, scaled and Mearns under her belt in her home state of AZ.
